Sunday the 18 th, Steve Moody shot a really nice 8 pointer. All I have is an actual picture. I will have to get it scanned so I can post it on the site. If anyone has any digital pictures of his deer please email them to me. Billy Boatwright also shot an 8 pointer which I do not have a picture of. If anyone has any please email them to me so we can post them. That was Sunday of week 4, now week 5. Terry Renfroe shot an 8 1/2 year old doe on Thursday. Friday John Bell shot a nice 8 pointer as did Matthew Brown. Also Friday Amber Roberts and Jimmy Roberts both shot does. Jimmy also took an 8 pointer that same day. Then Colin Bates took his very first deer, a button. Congratulations Colin. Then Saturday Jerry Hobbs took a doe and his grandson Carter Hobbs shot a spike. That was it as far as deer taken that week. We also had a Thanksgiving cookout which turned out great. We had a great turnout. Great food and friends. Thanks Shane and everyone else involved in the cookout. After words we had our meeting for suggestions for rule changes next year. We will be revising the rules and publishing them before deposits are do next year. Deposits are due by December 31 and they are $200 this year. The remainder is due in April. Last weekend (week 6) Eric Mixon, Chuck Peters and Ron Meckler all took does. That was it for last weekend. See you at the woods.
