Two weeks into bow season and only one doe taken. That was by Mathew Brown on opening weekend. Has been either to hot or to wet, for the hunters that is. The deer do not seem to mind. I expect in the next week or two it will pick up. I have posted a couple of pictures. One being the addition to the skinning shed and the new shooting bench. We had a great turnout at camp clean up and the shooting bench and addition were products of all the great work the members put forth. Camp has never looked so good. Thanks to everyone. A few reminders, please keep in mind the letter Big Rack sent out on the planting and plowing, also all tractors need to be out of the woods by Oct 1. We should be receiving back the jawbone information in a couple of weeks. October 17 th Big Rack will be having a barbecue lunch, which is opening day for gun season at 1 pm. The club will provide the barbecue, beans and chips. Please bring your own sides (or to share with others) and drinks. Notice the picture below, I have seen several of these this year. I for one normally do not see many. I don't know if it is all the rain or what it is. Be careful out there. Good luck next week and see ya at the woods.
