WEEK 2

<

To begin with Katrina Boatwright shot a 4 1/2 year old doe last Sunday the 28th of October, congratulations Katrina. The buck action picked up this weekend. Mike Feagans started it off right on Friday with a 10 pointer that grossed 118.5 inches. He is shown above in the first two pictures. Also Bryan Hegwood shot a nice 8 pointer that scored over 100 inches, also shown above. I was told Mike's 10 pointer was chasing a doe. Also Matthew Brown and Ron Meckler both shot does this weekend. Below in the Georgia hat is Ben Coleman with a big 7 pointer he shot with a bow. Inside spread was 16 1/2 inches. Then Saturday evening Clay Zupp and Roger Petty both shot bucks. Roger a 7 pointer and Clay a 9 pointer, both shown below. Jimmy (Rocky) Reed shown with the red pick up shot a 8 pointer Sunday morning. On Friday night November the 9th Big Rack is going to have a shrimp boil. It is free but would appreciate any contributions that anyone can make as far as plates, drinks, side dishes etc. Shrimp should be ready around 9 pm. We need to purchase food ahead of time and need everybody to RSVP so we can buy the correct amount. Call Shane Harness on his cell phone if you want to attend or have anything to bring. If you do not have his number you can e-mail me and let me know. Florida guys, hope we can see all of you guys there also. Want to go ahead and thank Shane Harness and Jerry Hobbs for all the time and effort they are about to put in this undertaking. Also don't forget about the barbeque we are going to have on the Saturday after Thanksgiving before the meeting. The bucks are out and roaming, hope you see lots of them. Good luck and see you next weekend.
