This last week Eric Mixon, Ron meckler, Gary Holtzclaw and Lee Olson all took does. They are practicing Quality Deer Management. We need to take more does next year, so they are doing there part. Which is what we need, more does taken. If you get back down before the new year how about harvesting a couple of does. If you do not take any does than you are not practicing QDM. If you want better bucks than you must take the does. We also have Mason Johnson taking his very first deer, a doe. He is shown with the doe in the grass. Congratulations Mason. We are also having a fish fry this weekend December the 13th. If you plan to attend please call Shane Harness and let him know by Wednesday morning so they can provide enough fish for everyone. Hope you can make it. Also Paul Burdette brought to my attention that you may have a problem finding orange paint for next years signs. He said no problem at all. Go to Walmart and look in the arts and crafts department. They have a small bottle of paint called "pure orange". That is all you will need. It is about two dollars. Make sure you get the outdoor paint and not the indoor. It is an acrylic paint made for wood and metal. Everybody goes to Walmart, so pick you up some. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. See ya at the woods.
