We had a great turnout this weekend for opening rifle season. It was good to see everyone and all the kids running around like last season never ended. I don't think I would have a clue how old I am or how long I have been in the club if it were not for those kids growing up so fast. The lunch cookout was a big success, thanks to Shane and all those who brought extra dishes to eat and anyone who helped out. Above is a picture of people starting to gather for the cookout. Then we have Keegan Moody with a nice 7 pointer which had a 19" spread. I think it was also his first buck ever. Then we have Parker Hobbs with his first buck, congratulations to both of you. The season is off and running, we had great temperatures for opening weekend, hopefully that will continue. We had a lively camp this weekend, keep in mind everyone needs to keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm. We look for more of the same this coming weekend, see y'all at the woods.
